Wooden shaft / yew
The yew tree, which grows larger than most oaks, is considered a symbol of fertile soil, and its majestic appearance makes it a historic tree that has attracted faith since ancient times.
The name Ichiigashi is said to be derived from a corruption of "Ichikashi," which means sacred tree.
Writing is casual, yet it is a precious thing.
Every line you write, every word you weave, contains great power.
With respect for the ancient practice of writing.
We adopted the sacred yew tree.
The wood processing is carried out in collaboration with Karimoku Furniture Co., Ltd.
Our commitment to Japan's diverse and limited forests, and our manufacturing process that combines advanced machinery and the handiwork of skilled craftsmen, brings out the beauty of wood.
We see the rich texture of yew, such as its characteristic "tiger stripes," as proof of its strength in surviving in nature, and we carefully craft each piece.

Points of emphasis
Wooden shaft
The unique "tiger stripe" appearance enhances the wood's charm.
Tiger stripe refers to wood grain that resembles the stripes of a tiger.
This pattern is created by the "rays" that extend from the bark to the center, and is one of the fascinating features of wood from the beech family, including yew. These cells were responsible for storing water and nutrients, and the tiger stripes not only symbolize beauty but also the vitality that has allowed the tree to survive in nature.

The design captures the beauty of natural irregularities and the warmth of handcrafted items.
The cap has fine grooves carved at random intervals using a technique called "shaper cut," reminiscent of tree bark.
In addition, the barrels, both wooden and metal, are programmed to reproduce the uneven cutting marks that are reminiscent of hand-crafted crafts, and each one is carefully carved out over a long period of time.

The 2025 Limited Edition wooden barrel will be produced in a limited run of 1,000 units. Each will be delivered with a serial number engraved on the inside of the barrel.

Metal shaft / Moss Marble
"Marble" pattern.
The way the colors gently overlap and blend together reminds me of something that is similar to the act of writing.
By writing, thoughts and feelings overlap, blend together, and deepen. This will surely be an irreplaceable time.
The base barrel is moss green.
The motif is moss that grows slowly over time.
It is our hope that you will enjoy writing forever.

By using a special anodizing process, a marble pattern that is different for each pen barrel emerges.

We focused on the beauty of irregularities and created a design that resembles jewelry.
Thin grooves are carved into the cap at random intervals using a technique called "shaper cut."
In addition, the uneven cutting marks on the body that give it a sense of fluctuation are reproduced through a program, and each piece is carefully carved out over a long period of time.
The sharp edges of the aluminum stand out, creating a luxurious atmosphere.
